Ynys Llanddwyn - Lovers Island, the home of Santes Dwynwen the daughter of the Welsh Prince Brycheiniog is the Patron Saint of Lovers. Pilgrimages are still made to the farthest point of the Newborough beach on Anglesey in celebration of love.
